Hmm. I ordered the DSL on the 4th and Earthlink said my line's provisioned already, and I'm only waiting for the modem to see if they're correct. I was steeling myself for a month or more of waiting. I went through DSLReports to get my initial DSL qualification -- originally they said that I was about 12000 feet from the switch, but by the time I actually signed up with Earthlink they said I was at 9550 feet. Very odd. >One thing I did with my GBL when I was using that was to have a simple >install of some OS on the hard drive of the Gnat machine. I have enough 120MB hard disks hanging around... too small to do anything with, and a shame to throw them away since they still work... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe to the digest version first unsubscribe, then e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
