1. MKS Toolkit has nearly all the Unix shell tools you'd want: awk, sed, grep and so on.
2. Perl is free and with the right scripts you could put out just about any kind of report you'd want. Every log entry not only is time stamped, but they are tagged with the type of log message, (e.g. NAT, FILTER, etc). We are working on enhanced log solutions for GNAT Box.
