That's true, but normally service machines are near the firewall (Take mail
as an example), also in a small environment it could be useful. GNATBOX is
typically deployed in a small environment anyways, most of the larger
organizations prefer name brands.

Correct, but not all networks are a single flat LAN! :)  Many large 
companies have multiple subnets beyond routers.  Some even share an internet

connection among multiple locations.  This feature would be useless for 
them.  It would be targeted only at those with a single network behind the 
Gnatbox.
