Correct, but not all networks are a single flat LAN! :)  Many large 
companies have multiple subnets beyond routers.  Some even share an internet 
connection among multiple locations.  This feature would be useless for 
them.  It would be targeted only at those with a single network behind the 
Gnatbox.
