Just checking, but your UNIX box is configured
to make the connection to 194.81.167.8 not
30.10.100.100 correct? I assume that hosts
on the remote LAN are able to use the printer
OK by connecting to 30.10.100.100?

Since you have GNAT Box on both ends, why not
set up a GNAT Box to GNAT Box VPN? Otherwise
you've exposed your lpd service to anyone
who finds it, and anything you send to the
printer is traversing the Internet in plain,
unencrypted text. At the *VERY* least I would
put a more restrictive filter on it.
