My cable modem now has a non-static IP address, but
it hasn't changed in the month that it has been
non-static.

I'm treating it as a static IP address for the
purposes of the VPN between my house (GBL) and my
office (GB1000).

If my IP address ever does change, I'll need to
change one address object and the VPN on the GBL
and change the VPN on the GB1000.

If you have RA filters allowing the GBL to be
managed from the central office, then in the case
of an IP address change you should be able to
manage the configuration change from one location.

If you suspect that the IP address may have changed
(i.e., the VPN stopped working but the Internet
connection still works) then have someone at the
remote office go to:
http://www.whatismyipaddress.com
to find what the IP address changed to. Once you
know that, you can connect to the GNAT Box and
make the changes.

Of course, even though my cable modem's IP address
hasn't changed in over a month, YMMV.
