Hi Chris,
You could go for the GB lite which is free (and supports remote
syslog'ing), and then purchase the $50 VPN option which should let you
connect your lites to the 1000. The only downside I can forsee is that you
have to supply the hardware.

| Subject: [gb-users] VPN connection to other devices
|
>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
I am looking at setting up a GB-1000 in 3 offices for a
client. We will be doing a VPN wan. They also have 40-50 satellite
offices that we will be adding one at a time to the VPN-based network.
Each of these office have 1 user with a few having 2. Internet
connectivity will be cable or DSL. I would like to accomplish 3 things:
1. Firewall Protection
2. Log all Internet Activity
3. Permanent network-based VPN connection to the GB-1000
The Robox looks like a great solution, but at $800 it's a bit steep for
a 1-2 user network. Does anyone know if the Watchguard or Sonicwall
SOHO appliances can do VPN with the Gnatbox?
Anyone have any other ideas?
