I switched to using Canit (www.canit.ca) on a redhat box andskipped the email proxy about 2 months ago. I'm not looking back. The ability to hold email that matches a RBL instead of refusing it was worth it alone. I can use much more aggressive RBL's without worrying about losing email. And that's not even the beginning of the features. Take a look.
