I'm trying to get to the error counters via SNMP but so far no
luck. Is
a remote access filter required on port 161? I've tried adding one
but
still no go. Not necessarily trusting my SNMP program (an old copy of
Cabletron's SPEL) I just downloaded the demo for Solarwinds and it
didn't work either. Any other gotchas on configuring SNMP for GB-Ware
(V 3.7.2)?
Hi Mike,
For 3.7 you'll need to add a remote access filter for UDP port 161
after enabling the SNMP service. In 4.0, there is an option for
automatically creating the filters, you can find it under the
"advanced" tab for the SNMP service.
BTW: a connection corresponds to a flow.
