Hi Joseph,

at least according to a license compatibility chart[1] published by the
FSF, it is OK to combine a LGPLv2.1 only library with a GPLv3 project.

Is there any reason the compatibility matrix published by the FSF might be outdated or may not apply to us, or do you think we can rely on this information?
