These tests FAIL on i686-linux: Excess errors: .../gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4sf-3.c:6:1: warning: SSE vector return without SSE enabled changes the ABI [-Wpsabi] .../gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4sf-3.c:6:6: warning: SSE vector argument without SSE enabled changes the ABI [-Wpsabi] and similarly for the other tests. Fixed by adding -Wno-psabi, like we do for many other tests. Tested on x86_64-linux and i686-linux, committed to trunk as obvious. 2026-09-11 Jakub Jelinek <[email protected]> * gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4sf-3.c: New test. * gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4si-3.c: New test. --- a/gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4sf-3.c 2026-09-10 14:51:20.429948559 +0200 +++ b/gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4sf-3.c 2026-09-11 09:39:36.017627470 +0200 @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ /* { dg-do run } */ -/* { dg-options "-O2" } */ +/* { dg-options "-O2 -Wno-psabi" } */ typedef float v4sf __attribute__ ((__vector_size__ (16))); @@ -71,4 +71,3 @@ int main() } return 0; } - --- a/gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4si-3.c 2026-09-10 14:51:20.429948559 +0200 +++ b/gcc/testsuite/gcc.target/i386/vperm-v4si-3.c 2026-09-11 09:39:25.445774187 +0200 @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ /* { dg-do run } */ -/* { dg-options "-O2" } */ +/* { dg-options "-O2 -Wno-psabi" } */ typedef int v4si __attribute__ ((__vector_size__ (16))); @@ -70,4 +70,3 @@ int main() } return 0; } - Jakub
