Hmm, personally I only actually use my @gcc.gnu.org account but also have
a @redhat.com account and people can CC either one. Perhaps if I only had
the @gcc.gnu.org account it would cut down on the frequency of getting
email to both addresses for the same bug. But might be confusing to people
trying to CC the address I use in commits.
It would be best if one could register bugzilla accounts as aliases,
so even if people CC me on @redhat.com email @gcc.gnu.org account could be
CCed instead.
Because otherwise it is a manual process, having to manually remove all
CCs someone added for @redhat.com when I just want @gcc.gnu.org CCs.
Unfortenately bugzilla doesn't have aliases. But an bugzilla admin
could merge your @redhat.com account into your @gcc.gnu.org account
(which updates all references like CCs). After which the @redhat.com
account won't exist anymore, so people cannot add that address to the
CC (or any other field) anymore. Which is either precisely how you
want it and/or confusing to some people.
I'm trying Andreas' suggestion of disabling bugmail on my @redhat.com
account and watching it on my @gcc.gnu.org account, it sounds like it
should have the desired effect.
