You're asking for a world of pain, all the required items are in Debian
packages. If you can't do this, we'll be happy to work through it, but
I'm not sure it's worth anyone's effort for us to work through such a
manual install process, because it could come out any number of ways.

Yes, so please try and get rid of any native packages you installed from
source, and use Debian's mechanism to install the required support. At
this point, we'll be in a much better position to help you if you get
stuck further.
