That is correct.

I have done the usual things like trying to remove the directory 
'Mozilla from choices, and i also tried replacing this with older ones 
that where saved after a succesful Firefox session had been closed 
quit.

I did replace the hard disc form my A9Home with a Compact Flash card, 
and copied everything over from the HD to the CFcard. I had to change 
a few things in Boot because of some absolute path names, and I had 
changed the name of the CFcard to another name to reflect the 
difference between the two.

I will try if using the old HD in my A9Home again would 'repair' 
Firefox again, and let you know the result.
