I also noted that there were less files in the A9home newly created Choices than there were on the Iyonix. As it turns out that difference is just a symptom, on the A9home Firefox/WimpSWIVe crashed before completing the job. > > SmartMenu is a tool that RMLoads two modules, WimpSWIVe and SmartMenu. > > Its use is to open submenus to the left instead of to the right, when > > the menu is right from the middle of the screen. > > > > While I write this, looking in the !Run File of !SmartMenu, I realise > > that probably not SmartMenu but WimpSWIVe is the cause of the problem, > > that would explain why it does not help to RMKill SmartMenu. > > So the thing to try here would be obvious - does unloading it allow it to > run? The A9home runs OS4.42 which is a relative of Select 3, OS4.39. Crucially OS4.42 is beta and does have its bugs, we may just have found another. -- David Pitt _______________________________________________ GCCSDK mailing list [email protected] Bugzilla: http://www.riscos.info/bugzilla/index.cgi List Info: http://www.riscos.info/mailman/listinfo/gcc Main Page: http://www.riscos.info/index.php/GCCSDK
