Note that the generated files for the Python bindings are no longer included
in the sources, so SWIG must be available at build time.
I'll call for a vote promoting it to next week if no serious problems
are reported before.
The "release/3.7" branch has been created for all bug fixes related to
3.7.x.
master is now targeting 3.8.0dev.
