What steps will reproduce the problem?
On my system, the following steps will reproduce the problem:
1. Install Gears 0.4.16 for MacOSX Safari
2. Launch Safari
3. Check system.log and note the message,
Safari[67423]: Gears InputManager failed to load Gears, exiting...
I tried reinstalling once, with the same results.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the a Gears item in the Safari application menu
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Gears 0.4.16, MacOSX 10.5.4 (PPC), Safari 3.1.2
Please provide any additional information below.
The installer seems to think the installation is successful. The Gears
homepage recognizes that
gears is installed, reporting "Gears is installed. Current
version:0.4.16.0;official;opt;osx;safari"
I have no other InputManagers installed.
