This issue must be fixed asap !
I had been using gears a lot, and since I upgraded to snow leopard
everything
stopped work. I'm starting to consider to use thunderbird as mail client,
mas there
are a lot of other applications which use gears, like google docs,
calendar, etc.
Please consider this issue as extremely high priority !!! It's unacceptable

issued like this one without its deserved attention. More than 2 months
without a fix
