Andrew I had the same problems when I downloaded Firefox 3.5 from the Mozilla site. However, I got sick of trying and decided to return to a version of Firefox that was working with Gears (I have a Mac so went to the latest Mac version that did work with Gears). I installed it over the top of 3.5 and Gears automatically began working as normal. Some time later I decided to try installing 3.5 by using the update feature and this time it updated Gears and other add-ons and has worked fine since then.
Hope this helps, all the best Pete On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 5:54 AM, awaegel <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > > Two problems installing Gears on Firefox 3.5.2: > > 1.
