Do you mean the "Purple Passion Plant", aka Gynura sp?  These plants
have bright yellow dandelion-like flowers - very gaudy with the purple
and green.  I think the genus is Gynura, which my very weak Greek 
translates as "woman tail" (!!??).

Baby's tears (Helxine sp ?) is a high humidity tiny leaved ground cover
that is often recommended for plant terrariums.  I don't know how well
it stands up to gecko or frog foot traffic.  It does get a bit stringy
in low light, but should do ok in moderate to strong 'rainforest' type
lighting.
