They respond to sand color. On white sand they're that light; on a reddish
sand they go quite a bit darker, similar to the type Is. The red-and-blue
highlights seem to be unique to that one male, and they aren't quite as
vivid in person as they look in the pictures (on my monitor, anyway).
Thanks for the suggestions...even if they *do* pull two more species in
that I hadn't even considered... :-)
