Hi,
My adult pair of knobtails, especially the female will eat just about
anything offered. This includes crickets, medium and even large Zophobas,
and occasional pinkies and wax worms.
They are kept very much like yours except the sand is fairly dry. I do
spray under both the warm and cool shelter on a daily basis but they tend to
get fairly dry by the next spraying.
If yours are quit shy don't expect them to want to eat while you are
watching. The person you obtained them from should be able to tell you what
their diet consisted of.
Hatchling knobtails are a little alarming in that they don't eat until 10 to
nearly 20 days after hatching. Once they try it though, they are very
voracious eaters.
Good luck, their neat little geckos.
