Can't speak for the first two, but I have tried *everything* to get my
ptychozoon's to lay on something artificial - paper, cork - they want
straight glass :) Use a tank you don't mind being visually ruined: she'll
eat the egg shells after the hatchlings emerge, but the base is stuck to the
glass for all of eternity.
