Haven't a clue as to the mesh that I buy, it is just what they put in
the bag. It is rather like a coarse sand. The source can come from rocks
or sea creatures like oyster shell. Not sure what the source for the
Agway product is. If you went to the actual feed mill you could find out
the source and pick the mesh you wanted. Mesh is just a set of screens
with different openings that sort the size of the particles.
