I keep fairly good weights for my chameleons, but rarely weigh geckos
unless I'm medicating them. Since most of my geckos are Phelsuma,
handling them gives them more stress that the value of the weight. I do
occasionally weigh my Rhacodactylus. I think the benefit of weighing
your animals is to keep track of growth trends for young, and to be able
to detect problems (eating, health, etc.) for established animals.
