While in Home Depot recently, I noticed they sell Schultz Aquatic Plant
Soil. The package also has the name Profile on it, which was mentioned
in some of the Gecko posts as a new incubation medium. I currently have
a clutch of gecko (R. ciliatus) eggs and a clutch of chameleon (C.
lateralis) eggs incubating
on it. It is baked ceramic, highly porous and with a neutral PH, so it
is very like seramis. It also looks like the pictures of seramis that
have been posted. Since nothing has hatched yet and I've only had it a
few
weeks, I can't make recommendations, but for those that want to
experiment,
there it is. One other thing... it has quite a bit of dust on it so you
have to rinse it thoroughly!

Here is a URL: http://www.schultz.com/proaqua.htm

BTW... there is also a Clay Soil Conditioner made by Schultz that sounds
similar. Based on some other info, I think it is much lighter... more
like kitty litter.
