Julie,
I feel truly lucky to benefit from the experience of the pros on this list.
As someone with about 1/360 (less than .33 %) of your experience, most of
what I have to say about the subject is an extrapolation of what I have read
or heard. It seems that there are few hard facts in Leopard Gecko care like
88/78 temperature, which isn't even necessarily hard and fast among all
owners. The other 99% is experience, I guess. I'll try the vermiculite,
even though I'm not exactly happy about putting such an artificial medium in
my gecko's habitat. But if you say they like it, then I'll give it a go. I
do have to accept the advice of someone like yourself who is currently
running a successful breeding operation on a large scale. So thank you
again and I will look forward to more of your useful advice.
