Just for future reference, do you know how bowel impaction in Leopard Geckos
is treated?

beginner leo keepers I recommend totally non-digestable substrate, like
paper towels or indoor/outdoor carpet. You do not want to risk impaction
from ingestion of substrate. Beginners don't usually have the powers of
observation more advanced gecko keepers have to see when this is happening
anyway.
