Seramis most likely will not make a good egg laying substrate, but rather a superb egg
incubation substrate.
Lyle is right, I doubt that a gravid female Leopard would be satisfied digging in
something that is similar to gravel.
Use sand/peat, or peat, or something else for egg laying material. Seramis in its
manufactured form unlikely occurs in
the habitat of any gecko species - which would probably frustrate them.
Seramis should be used as a synthetic advantage to anything else I know for incubation
of eggs, particularly soft-shelled eggs.

I have not heard of this used in a hide box, but for incubation medium. I
would think they would prefer something they can dig in. The seramis may
frustrate them. Jon? I have not used the stuff though. I use damp peat in
my boxes.
