Leopard geckos are from dry areas and should not require a humid
environment. However, like many others I provide a hide box for them to
hang out in if they want. This hide box ranges from fairly humid when I
first spray to not really very humid once it dries back out. I use
Bed-a-beast in the hide box.
This shedding problem could be the result of a health problem since
Eublepharis don't usually have any problem shedding. You may want to
consult your vet.
Occassionally I have shedding problems with other species and when I do I
provide a warm bath for them. Put a small amount of warm water (90 - 95F)
in a closed but ventilated container and let them spend 15 minutes in it.
I'm not talking about them having to swim - the water shouldn't be that
deep. Also you don't want to stress the gecko too much so you have to be
careful in that regards. Once the gecko has soaked the unshedded skin can
be removed. It may even take more than one bath.
