I suggest you do a lot of research on the gecko that you plan on breeding.
You may want to keep just a few to see if you like them. There is nothing
worse than getting them and finding out that they arent what you expected.
Remember they all have to be fed and watered and kept clean, and once you
have babies you will spend lots of time taking care of them all. I new a guy
who noticed me selling geckos at the show and asked me about the money part.
I told him that you have got to enjoy them as an animal first. Well he didnt
listen and 3 months later he was at the show with 35 babies he bought .He was
trying to sell them for 1/3 of what he paid for them. People try to get into
this hobby for the money. That is totally wrong in my opinion. Once you keep
geckos and decide that you really like them , then you may want to start a
small breeding colony. I have 25 breeding groups of 5 species and it takes me
2 hours a day just to feed , water and clean them. You will know immediately
if you like the geckos.
