Can you say the below without knocking honest pros? I know Lyle did not post
that. There's nothing wrong with making a buck if you are ethical about it. My
business evolved naturally, from my love of the gex to support my collection.
The show circuit is often a place where "fly by night" folks go, they will be
gone tomorrow. I worked for many years to establish a repuation as a quality
breeder and I am proud of it.

Gex breeding is hard business to get into and enjoy success. $ should not
motivate you as the bottom line, or your decisions will be made based on that.
The $ only motivated tendency is to neglect the animals since they only are a
source of income, which is wrong. My decisions are made based on my love of the
gex, I don't work with what I don't love, and in considering any business
decision $ is far behind the welfare of the gex. None of my success makes me
feel bad (when I put a check in my bank account) since I know I have treated
the gex and people right.

What I am trying to say is the two things, business and gex, can coexist and be
ethical.
