Well, I took the gecko to the vet today and it turns out dropping him had
nothing to do with the eye. It appears he has a systemic bacterial infection
that was caused by a bite he received from another gecko. It moved through
his bloodstream to his eye. The vets seem pessimistic and think he might die
but I have faith. He's tough.
He weighs 5 grams :)
Sorry for the personal post but it makes me feel better to share this
experience.
