Hi Sean,
Sounds like your doing a good job. You may hear some opinions on the sand
and maybe an ingestion problem. That may be the case. It may not. At three
days, if their weight looks ok, no need to panic. They could be adjusting
to their new surroundings yet. Have you tried different insects?
I found the patternless to have individuals that do not thrive. Im not
sure what is going on. If things continue, you should consider a fecal
exam. This will not be expensive and will tell you if you have any cooties
to clean up.
