Hi Jason...

I originally got a bunch of the ballasts from someone in the lighting
business from one of the chameleon lists I am on. They are made by GE. I
have found fully electronic ballasts at Home Depot for about the same
money, but they don't always have them. Also, make sure you don't make
the mistake of getting a hybrid ballast... it's not instant on and
doesn't keep one bulb on if the other is bad. For the 18" tubes, I use
the cheap LOA under cabinet fixtures that sell for under $10 each and
put up with the problems. If one starts eating bulbs faster I just throw
it away! I do feel that for whatever reason they are better than the
cheap LOA 4' garage fixtures.
