My understanding is that millipedes are scavengers and bad-tasting. I've
certainly noticed an oily, bad-smelling residue on my fingers after I have
handled them. I guess I would just pick them out of the cage whenever I saw
one. Like many small arthropods, they seek out moisture, so you might be able
to rig an easily-accessible area of your enclosure with a damp spot and
"harvest" them for a few days. Good luck.
