Wow! The type doesn't ring any bells with me. Try looking at the photos at
http://www.gekkota.com .

Right now you're going to have to limp along with generic gecko care...set the
gecko up in a terrarium on paper towels for now, provide a climbing/ hiding
place with paper towel rolls placed diagonally. On the floor of the set-up, put
some 1/2 toilet paper rolls or improvise. They need a place to hide. Don't worry
about lighting, try keeping the terrarium in the low-mid 80s for now. Spray the
sides of the terrarium for water. Get some small crickets, 1 week old, about 90%
the size of the gecko's head, and feed about five to start. Don't overfeed. If
the gecko eats the crickets quickly, then add a few more. Feed every other day
to start. It is unclear whether you have an adult or juvenile gecko - babies
need to eat more often. If your pet shop doesn't have the right size crickets
then order from a cricket farm on http://www.kingsnake.com

Try feeding the gecko a water bottle cap full of apricot babyfood. Most geckos
will take this.

I suggest you purchase a copy of Bartlett and Bartlett's "Geckos: a pet owner's
manual," that will get you going in the right direction and may even provide an
id. If you can, post a digital photo less than 50K to the list here and you'll
probably get an id.

Good luck!
