I can't help with the ID, but it reminds me of a phone call I received 
several months ago from a woman who found a very small lizard in her house. 
For those of you who live where there are wild lizards, let me assure you 
there are NO wild lizards in my area (suburban Chicago). From her 
description, the lizard sounded like a small house gecko. After further 
conversation, I learned that she recently had been in the hospital and had 
received a life plant. I told her to look at the base of the plant. Guess 
what�she found two empty eggs!
