It sounds like a lack of vitamins to me, resulting in cramps and
other problems - perhaps giving the animals water that has been
added vitamins could help for a beginning. I had cramps with a
female P. ornata once, and vitamins have helped with that. But be
careful, overdosing vitamins can lead to harm, too! Best ask your
vet about dosage ... .
