Subject: RE: [Gecko] cepediana discussion

Hi James,

I am here and following the discussion. Very interesting, but I do not feel
that I have any substance to put into it.
All my P.cepediana are green bellied, and origin from Port Louis, and as I
wrote earlier I had the impression that the "highland"
form was supposed to be red/brown bellied. When I bought my first P.cepediana
lots of years ago, from you all know who, he
showed me some animales with redish/brown colours. That redish/brown colour
started in the middle of the belly and continued along the tails
underside.Thats what he called highland form.Since I have never been to
Mauritius ( yet) I do not know what moore to say.Maybe its the same as with
the P.borbonicas. Lots of variation between individuals from different
locations ,or for that matter the same locations.
