Hello Gecko enthusiasts,
I have an opportunity to spend several weeks in Eastern Ecuador, Yasuni
National Park, this upcoming summer. While there I will have some free
time to look for herps and wanted to find out what types of geckos
reside in that part of the Amazon. I was hoping there is some type of
field guide, but have not found one. Does anyone know of such a field
guide? It would not have to be specifically geckos, but of the
herpetofauna of this region.
Incindentally, I picked up two publications from the GGA bookstore, both
dealing with Sphaerodactylus (of Middle and South America). If you have
not taken a look at the GGA's bookstore in a while, they are adding new
titles and it is worth a look. The quick service is unparalleled in my
book buying experience -- top notch!
Thank you for any help you can offer.
