Even a 40 Kb file sent to 225 people adds up to 9 Mb of bandwidth. Then if
multiple posts with pictures occur during the same day, or someone decides
to send 8 posts with a 38 Kb pic in each to get around the 40 Kb max per
post (69 Mb), etc. You can see how this can quite easily get out of hand. At
this time we do not have the resources for this. The GGA is looking into
ways around this problem. Hopefully when we have more paying GGA members or
another solution arises, picture posts will return to the list.

Couldn't you just limit the size of photos to 40K or something similar
rather than totally excluding them? Other lists I'm on do that (although I'm
not sure the size limit is 40K).
