Doug, Even a 40 Kb file sent to 225 people adds up to 9 Mb of bandwidth. Then if multiple posts with pictures occur during the same day, or someone decides to send 8 posts with a 38 Kb pic in each to get around the 40 Kb max per post (69 Mb), etc. You can see how this can quite easily get out of hand. At this time we do not have the resources for this. The GGA is looking into ways around this problem. Hopefully when we have more paying GGA members or another solution arises, picture posts will return to the list.

Couldn't you just limit the size of photos to 40K or something similar rather than totally excluding them? Other lists I'm on do that (although I'm not sure the size limit is 40K). ########################################################################### THE GLOBAL GECKO ASSOCIATION LISTSERV WebSite: www.gekkota.com Archive: [EMAIL PROTECTED]/ The GGA takes no responsibility for the contents of these postings. ###########################################################################
