Mario,
The GGA has been a great organization for me and I think it would be a great
place for anyone who has an interest in geckos.
I don't have seven species and I don't have an advanced degree in herpetology.
I joined the list and GGA so that I can learn more and just talk to people
about geckos. I think the membership make-up of GGA is a varied mix of people
who may only have one gecko and people who even may have one pair of every
species! All in all, I have not seen people being treated shoddily, the exact
opposite is true -- the most basic questions to the most complex questions
normally have enthusiastic and infomative discussions.
The leopard gecko discussions -- genetics especially -- seem to get a lot of
action.
I would reconsider your choice and join the GGA. It would be great to have you
as a member!
