Hey Lyle,
thanks for all of your help, i really appreciate it.

well, i go to college, so i can't keep him in my dorm room.
my boyfriend has him at his apartment. it's in an old
building, and he's warmer than the average human (i'm not
joking), so he keeps his heat down lower than normal. we
got our thermometer at radioshack - it's an indoor/outdoor.
we have the sensor inside Teagan's tank on the warm side,
toward the bottom. it reads a steady 82, except when i
spray his moss in the morning. the usual temp outside his
tank is around 70 degrees.
i'm home for spring break, but i talk to my bf over instant
messenger - i told him to throw a towel over one end of his
tank. we're monitoring the temp as i write this email.
i'll let you know what it finally rests at, as it's slowly
rising.

the pet store told me he was 9 months old. he's probably no
more than 5 or 6 inches from the tip of his nose to the end
of his tail. he doesn't seem to care much about his
substrate. the pet store told me that it was completely
organic, and that it's totally digestable. i've just heard
so much bad stuff about calci-sand that this seemed like a
better option. let me know what you think.
again, i really appreciate your help.
