Thank you for keeping us updated on this topic over the last several months. My importer tells me that Madagascar IS closed down for exportation of animals. They are scheduled to get one last shipment because they applied for permits late or something. He says F&W is sending letters and emails to importers across the country that no more shipments from Madagascar will be allowed in the country. Any that come in after a certain date will be confiscated if they find it. I hope this doesn't last long. It is needed though. Maybe they're just going to do a quota? Anyways, this is what I understand from MY supplier, but I think other people are getting in Madagsacar too. I see Strictly Reptiles w/ some and LLL Reptile and Reptile Depot have posted some this week.
