They don't always eat the first few days after hatching. Some even go a week or a few
days more before they decide to try munching on food. 

Make sure he's got water readily available. Best bet is to do like Cyndy said, put
some on his nose (don't cover the nostrils though to be safe) and see if he'll lick
it off. However, don't be surprised if he won't bother eating on his own for at least
3-5 days.
