While I ahve not examined the gecko in question, these appeared to be pre0ovulatory follicles and not fully formed eggs to me. Of course this is from a pic - so YMMV.

Hi All,
I didn't see mention of how long this gecko has been exhibiting these symptoms I would think that if there are multiple eggs forming some of them are probably adhered to the oviduct. Unfortunately nothing but surgery is going to remedy that. I was also thinking it might be large deposits of urates although I would lean towards that more if the animal was a snake and not a gecko. Please keep us posted as to what the diagnosis of this problem is, it's very curiuos that's for sure!
