Hi Matt,

The photo was attached to my first post. If you can't find it,
I can send it directly rather than to the whole list. I've seen
2 eggs and a small slug before, but I think this is a bit odder than
that. As Keith pointed out, the eggs do not look fully formed, at least
in the photo. The owner is taking it back to the vet to see if surgery
is necessary. The soaking, and sometimes oral supplements/electrolytes
have also worked for me with other species for egg binding.

Neil

I have had a couple of leopards in the past lay 3 eggs all at once.
Just this season I have had a leopard who I thought was egg bound. We
soaked her several times a day for three days and on the fourth day she
laid 3 eggs. Two of the eggs were somewhat fused together and it looked
like a huge peanut. None of the eggs were fertile. Would it be
possible to see the picture Neil?

Thanks,

Matt

I have seen something like this in a wc U. sikorae.
We found out post mortem that she was developing 6 eggs
instead of 2!

Hopefully Shawn will have some success with the vet, it would
be nice to know if this is something treatable.

Neil

Interesting and strange.

My advice - have another visit to the vets. Yep my private practice
bretheren do cost some money - but hey, if we take in an animal an
make it ours, we have some responsibility, and something that costs
a few dollars.

As far as the case goes - if it is multiple eggs developing, there
is likely something very wrong with that ovary and it might be a
surgical disease.

Hi All,

Can anyone else help out with this? It looks like multiple eggs are
forming in this leo.
I'm at a loss as to what can be done.

Thanks,

Neil,

I have a problem Neil, hopefully you can help me out with this, or
send it to someone that will know what is going on with my
Leopard. This is the one that is egg bound, we induced it, and
myself and the vet didn't really know what to do at that point. 80
dollars later, no eggs, and now I look at her belly and see this.
I have no idea what is going on with her, and don't want to take
it to the vet without knowing something about what is going on
first. Attached is a picture.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Shawn
