Well except the animals must have come into the states (or born here) prior to the current laws in place banning the export of wildlife from Mexico. If they violate these laws, the infamous Lacey Act comes in play.

Hey,

P. xanti noticlus is the only one in the states and it is protected in the states.
They are found also in northern Baja, where they wouldnt be protected.
So if the stock you have is from mexico, you should be fine, but if from california,
you may want to pass. Xanti xanti is from southern Baja, and if you've found a source for them,
you should also be fine, as far as i know, mexico has no laws over this species.
