AJ: There are several things that can cause swelling of the eye from the things already mentioned by Karin to bacterial infections. Without treatment the eyes will go blind. It is time to take your pet to a veterinarian. Home treatments are not appropriate for this situation.
There are several on-line sources to find veterinarian who specialize in reptiles -- maybe someone familiar with those sites can refer AJ to them.
